I’m Dumitru Toev — Ami Veo visual studio. 27, born in the Republic of Moldova, more than 10 years in the Czech Republic and schooled here. I work in Czech, English, Russian and Romanian.
It started with a pencil. Visual art has been part of my life since I was a kid — ninjas first, then graffiti, portraits and anime as a teenager. At 11 I was selling hand-drawn graffiti to classmates with their own name in it. At 18 it was paid work online — logos, cover art, characters and other graphic design for international clients on sites like Fiverr.com and Freelancer.com, self-taught the whole way. Then came years of making my own music, and almost every cover and video for it was my own work too. Doing it for other people came last, and it came fast.
What I actually sell is taste. I look for the thing a brand — or a person — is genuinely strong at and build the piece around it, finished to a standard the feed rarely gets, and cut for what performs there. Concept, shoot, edit, logo, cover art: one person, start to finish.
